Disaster Relief

Disaster relief is one way the church lives out Christ’s command to love our neighbors. When communities face tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, and other disasters, the local church is uniquely positioned to offer hope, compassion, and practical assistance. Through prayer, service, generosity, and coordinated response, we seek to care for those affected by crisis while demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ.

The Mississippi-West Tennessee Conference of the Global Methodist Church is working to strengthen disaster relief efforts across our conference so that churches are prepared to respond when needs arise. Additional training opportunities, volunteer information, and disaster response resources will be added as they become available.
