Paul Lawler, Mississippi–West Tennessee Clergy Member, Elected Bishop for Episcopal Area 7
Rev. Paul Lawler, Senior Pastor of Christ Methodist Church in Memphis and a clergy member of the Mississippi–West Tennessee Annual Conference, has been elected a bishop of the Global Methodist Church. He will serve Episcopal Area 7.
Episcopal Area 7 includes eight annual conferences from around the world: Venezuela, South Georgia, North Georgia, Central Europe, Zambia, Northern Nigeria, Alabama Emerald Coast, and Heartland.
Paul has served as Senior Pastor of Christ Methodist Church since 2022 and has been an active leader within the Mississippi–West Tennessee Annual Conference and the Global Methodist Church. His ministry has emphasized evangelism, discipleship, church multiplication, and taking the gospel beyond the local church.
